Specifically tailored for Lithium Ion (LiFePO4) Batteries with unique charging characteristics for maximum performance and cell longevity. 12V LiFePO4 batteries do need to be charged to the maximum voltage of 14.6V (3.65V per Cell) for optimal performance. At 14V (3.5V per Cell) the battery will reach roughly 99% capacity. Charging in to the upper ranges only exaggerates cell imbalances and stresses the battery, which can reduce life cycle and capacity.
